Field Engineering/Tech Staff
Our engineers & technicians are eager to support the clients needs through a variety of services including providing statement of special inspection, as well as, concrete, asphalt, rebar, soils, wood framing testing & inspection. They bring with them the educational credentials, as well as experience with international testing labs, tri-state area labs and/or engineering firms. In 2002, Elizabeth and Tony Broncati, founded Connecticut Materials Testing Lab, Inc. NVLAP#200616-0 , to serve the inspection & testing needs of clients for nearly 2000 projects throughout the Tri-State area. In 2016, we began doing business as METRO MATERIALS TESTING LAB in New York (including New York City) and Florida.
From new construction to renovation, condos to schools, utility projects to roadways, Tony has brought his 30 years of Engineering experience and knowledge to each job. Whether he was in his role as a construction supervisor, design engineer, project manager or engineering inspector, Tony's wealth of experience helps him understand the demands of each client in a unique & personal way.
With her 25+ years of managerial experience with Fortune 500 companies and small business consulting, Elizabeth set up the organizational and financial structure, as well as the business administration of CMTL to better address client needs with skilled staff, excellent training, and the best tools available. CMTL, Inc. was just awarded Women Owned Business status from the State of Connecticut. More certifications to come.

Our Quality Engineer, Jesus Fanas, ensures that all CMTL Inc. testing is done to meet all ACI, AASHTO & NVLAP requirements, providing independent inspections & quality reporting to our clients. He also ensures each technician & engineer has up to date certifications and training. CMTL, Inc. (including Metro) is both NVLAP (Lab Code 2200616-0) & AASHTO accredited.
